Head Librarian Rosie Johnson, reference librarian Shannon Storm, and children's librarian Jane Moss keep the Library operating smoothly. Their ongoing activities include updating and organizing local resources, helping patrons with research, managing the computer system, and obtaining materials from other libraries. In addition the staff helps the trustees in planning for the long-term needs of patrons.
TRUSTEES
The Trustees are an executive body responsible for
overseeing operational and financial aspects of the
Library. They work together with the Librarians to
plan for future library services and capabilities.
Trustees are elected by the voters of Newbury.
The trustees are: Paula Falkowski, Liz Tentarelli and
Regina Almond-Albro.
Friends of the Library are volunteers who promote the activities of the library, provide financial assistance, and assist the librarians with special projects. In particular, videos, DVDs, audio books, and all program activities are funded by the Friends. Everyone is invited to join the Friends for a yearly contribution of $12.00.
