LIBRARY CLOSED LABOR DAY MONDAY SEPTEMBER 1ST.
Wow!! This has been a busy summer at the library.
Already this summer library patrons have enjoyed a wide range of informative and stimulating programs including:
Our summer reading program for young adults,
The popular "Stories and ice cream" program for students in grades 1-5,
A variety of evening programs for families,
And the new favorite "French for Kids"
This year our monthly book
discussion has continued through the summer months and several of our
summer patrons have taken advantage of the opportunity to join the
discussions. The book selection for September's discussion touches on
the topical subject of immigration. Immigration can be a heavy topic
but the book, "Tortilla Curtain," is a light summertime read. Pick up a
copy at the library and share your thoughts with other readers at the
September 8 discussion. |
